UYUNI MAGIC 04 Nights

Day 01: TOURIST BUS FROM LA PAZ – UYUNI

At 20:00 Hr. Our staff will pick you up from your hotel in La Paz to go to the bus station and take the tourist bus to Uyuni. The trip lasts approximately 10 hours.
The tourist bus leaves at 9:00 p.m. from La Paz. The vehicle is equipped with comfortable reclining seats, heating, and ventilation.

Day 02: UYUNI – SALT LAKE – INCAHUASI – SAN JUAN

We will arrive at 07:00 Hr. to Uyuni and you will have time to have breakfast. You can also tour the city of Uyuni on your own until the start time of the tour. At 10:00 Hr. We left for the largest salt desert.

During the day you will visit:

• Train graveyard: where very old trains and locomotives rest.
• The town of Colchani: Located on the shores of the great Salar, it is the main entrance to the salt desert. It is also known as «Puerto Seco», where you can observe the intense activity of salt extraction in an artisanal way. The villagers will teach us the process of drying, grinding and bagging the salt, ready for consumption.
• Salt Hotel: Located in the middle of the Salar de Uyuni, built with blocks of salt, both external and internal, walls, floor, beds, tables, seats, all made of salt with a beautiful view of the Salar de Uyuni, today you can visit as a museum.
• Incahuasi Island: Located in the middle of Uyuni, the Incahuasi Island generally known as «Fish Island» is populated by numerous giant cacti with heights exceeding 10 meters, from the summit you can contemplate the wonderful landscape.

After our visit to the island, we will have lunch and in the afternoon we will continue to the town of San Juan where we will spend the night in Family Accommodation. (Lunch dinner).

Day 03: SAN JUAN – LAGOONS – RED LAGOON

After breakfast we will go to the Red Lagoon. On the way, we will visit the active Ollague volcano, the Cañapa, Stinking, Chiarcota and Sling lagoons, lagoons that are populated by flamingos. At noon we will take a break on the way to have lunch and then continue our journey to the Siloli desert, where we will observe an interesting rock formation known as the Stone Tree. Finally, we arrive at the Red Lagoon, located in the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Park. You can walk around the lagoon, appreciating large numbers of flamingos. The red color of the lagoon is due to the sedimentation of zooplakton, phytoplankton and others. We will spend the night in family homes. (Breakfast lunch dinner).

Day 04: RED LAGOON – GEISERS – GREEN LAGOON – UYUNI

The fourth day our tour starts very early (05:00 a.m.), to better appreciate the Geisers – fumaroles (volcanic area), known as «Sun of Tomorrow» then we continue to the hot springs – Polques, there we have breakfast and rest. Then we head towards the Lagunas: «Blanca» and «Verde», which are located at the foot of the Llicancabur volcano, at a height of 4,350 meters above sea level. The green color is caused by the accumulation of magnesium content of the geological formations in the area.

After our visit to the green lagoon, we return to Uyuni and we will stop for lunch. Then we continue our trip passing through the Valley of the Rocks and the typical towns of Villa Alota, Kulpinaka, and San Cristóbal.

We arrive at the town of Uyuni at approximately 6:30 p.m. We have a free time to relax until 8:00 p.m.

At 20:00 Hr. The tourist bus leaves for La Paz, and we will arrive the next morning.
