CRUISE FROM CATAMARAN TO THE ISLAND OF THE SUN 02 DAYS
Our tour begins in La Paz and we head towards Copacabana, the trip lasts approximately three and a half hours we will cross the Cordillera Real where we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Andes, until we reach Copacabana , place of pilgrimage of thousands of files who come daily to ask for blessing to the Miraculous Virgin Morena of Copacabana.
We will visit the Island of the Sun where we will find the archaeological remains of Pilkokaina Inca temple dedicated to the cult of the sun or Inti, then we will descend towards the Fountain of Youth and the Inca garden. Come with us and discover the origin of the most magnificent Empire that dominated the southern hemisphere.

Itinerary
DAY 1: LA PAZ – COPACABANA – ISLAND OF THE SUN – LA PAZ
We will stop by the hotel in La Paz around 07:00 to 07:30 a.m. to pick you up and then depart by local bus to Copacabana. The trip lasts approximately 3 and a half hours where you will enjoy beautiful views of the Andes Mountains known as the Cordillera Real.
Arriving around noon, we will arrive in Copacabana, home of the Miraculous Dark Virgin of Copacabana who receives thousands of files daily. We will have a delicious typical lunch of the area.
After lunch, around 1:30 pm, we will embark on our shared boat in the southern part of Isla del Sol, crossing the waters of the highest navigable lake in the world, Lake Titicaca, an hour and a half away.
Once we arrive at Isla del Sol we will have a short walk of about 20 minutes to the Archaeological Center of Pilcocaina, the ruins of a mysterious sacred place dedicated to the worship of Inti, the sun god and the highest Inca divinity. After a guided tour of the site, we will descend an original Inca trail, the stone steps of the Yumani Staircase, to reach the Fountain of Youth.
Later, around 4:30 pm, it is time to cross the lake to go to the Catamaran.
DAY 2: SUN ISLAND / LA PAZ
The next morning, we will continue aboard the Catamaran cruise to Copacabana admiring the panorama. At the sanctuary, we will have free time to enjoy various religious and archaeological sites. We include lunch and land transfer to the city of La Paz.
We will arrive in La Paz at 7:30 p.m. END OF OUR SERVICES.

If you are a US citizen or a citizen of the countries listed below: Angola, Bhutan, Republic of Chad, Congo, Rwanda, Somalia, Republic of Yemen, Indonesia, China, and Taiwan; make sure you have all your documents in order before you travel.
This is due to the fact that in 2007, Bolivian President Evo Morales suppressed the right of these citizens to freely enter the Bolivian country, in reciprocity to a similar measure taken by the United States government.
