Itinerary
Day 1: CUSCO CITY TOUR
Upon arrival to Cusco reception and transfer to your Hotel.
13:30 Cusco City Tour From 14:00 Hr. to 18:30 Hr. This tour includes the Qoricancha (temple of the sun). The tour drives along the Circumvallation Road up to famous fortress of Sacsahuaman, Q’enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay Including English speaking guide. Include Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well. Lodging at your hotel.
19:00 Return to the Hotel and Overnight.
Day 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR PISAQ – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CHINCHERO
Breakfast.
07:45 Hr. You will be picked up from your Hotel. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the village of Pisac, a picturesque town of creole, colonial aspect and its market and craftfair.
13:00 Hr. Buffet Lunch provided.
In the afternoon you’ll visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architectural group that in the days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex, finally we will visit Chinchero.
18:30 Hr. return to Cusco. Transfer to your Hotel. (Breakfast, Buffet Lunch)
Day 3: CUSCO RIVER RAFTING
07:00 Hr. Breakfast.
08:00 Hr. You will be picked up from your Hotel. After one and a half hours drive we arrive to the put -in at the shores of the Upper Urubamba River, at «CASA CUSI» our private campground. Our professional Rafting Guides will give you a safety talk and provide you with all the proper equipment for Rafting. We drive up river to the CHUQUICAHUANA (CHUQUI) section of the river, We would be floating for approximately two and a half hours, running class III plus & IV rapids, introductory type rapids. Afterwards, we arrive back to «CASA CUSI», where a hot Sauna will be waiting and a full course lunch will be provided. At the end, return to Cusco.
17:00 Hr. Transfer to your Hotel and Over night. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4: MACHUPICCHU
05:00 Hr. Breakfast.
05:55 Hr. departure to Machupicchu. Services included: Transfer from hotel to railway station, round trip Train ticket Cusco/Agua Calientes/Cusco, bus service to ruins and back.
09:40 Hr. you will arrive at the Aguas Calientes Station, from where you will take a 25 minutes bus ride to the ruins of Machu Picchu. Once there, you will take a guided tour, with an English speaking guide.
16:55 Hr. we’ll take the train back to Cusco.
20:25Hr, transfer from the train station to your hotel, overnight at your Hotel (Breakfast).
Day 5: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TREK
03:30 Hr. We will pick you up at your Cuzco Hotel, Then we are going 3 hours drive through the South Valley to the Pitumarca town, where we will have our breakfast. After that we are going to drive for about 15 minutes more to Quesiuno community (4,326 m / 14,189 ft.), where we gonna start our trek for 3 hours approx. to arrive at the astonishing Rainbow Mountain, (most of the way is going up).
The Rainbow Mountain, also known as Vinicunca, is a spectacular place near the snowy Ausangate glacier. In the way up we are going to be able to enjoy amazing landscapes of herds of alpacas and llamas, the Ausangate Mountain, many red mountains and traditional local houses. We will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depend of your trekking speed and weather conditions).
After to take nice pictures and enjoy this majestic and unique natural wonder, we will descend back into Chilca for lunch. After lunch, we will drive back to Cuzco.
19:00 Hr. Arrival to Cusco and Transfer to your Hotel.
Day 6: TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport. END OUR SERVICES.
